Singapore has lifted import restrictions on poultry products from areas affected by bird flu in France
On 28 December 2022, the Food Authority of Singapore issued a notice that it would lift restrictions on the import of poultry and its products from the provinces of Ans and Salte in France.
It is learnt that on 9 September and 11 October 2022, Singapore imposed temporary import restrictions on poultry and its products from the areas affected by the H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreak in the provinces of Ann and Salte, France.
Now that the outbreak in the region has been resolved, the Food Authority of Singapore said that the above import restrictions will be lifted immediately.
