Asian Paints Announces Second Quarter Results for Fiscal Year 2020-21
Asian Paints announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and six months ended September 30, 2020.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2020, operating income increased by 5.9% to Rs. 53,523 million from Rs. 50,566 million on the basis of consolidation of the accounts of subsidiaries and associates of Asian Paints.
The group's profit before depreciation, interest, tax and other income (PBDIT) increased by 32.5% to Rs. 12,652 million from Rs. 9,548.2 million.
Profit before tax (profit from continuing operations) increased by 34.4% to Rs. 11,145.52 crore from Rs. 852.25 crore.
Net profit after non-controlling interests (from continuing operations) was Rs. 830.37 crore, up 0.5% from Rs. 826.29 crore in the same period last year.
