FMC expanded production to a maximum capacity of 6000 t/a Chlorantraniliprole and 1200 t/a Cyantraniliprole
Recently, FMC (Shanghai)’s Chemical plant optimization and newe nvironmental protection equipment project was approved by Shanghai Bureau ofEcological Environment.
Project Overview
The project is located at No. 39Shungong Road, F5 block, Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone. It is planned to add a 3-Methyl-pyridine TK recovery device in the existingfactory, with a designed disposal capacity of 7,500 tons/year. Upon completion, the capacity of the existing J1 production plant will be increased from"1100 tons/year of Chlorantraniliprole " to "1800 tons/year of Chlorantraniliprole ". The capacity of the existing J2production plant has been increased from "900 t/a or 2400 t/a Cyantraniliprole " to "1200 t/a or 4200 t/a Cyantraniliprole ". When J1 and J2 produce Chlorantraniliprole at the same time, the maximum productioncapacity of the whole plant is 6000 tons/year Chlorantraniliprole; J2 has a maximum production capacityof 1200 t/a Cyantraniliprole and 1800 t/a of Cyantraniliprole. The project is divided into twostages. The first stage is mainly to implement process optimization and productexpansion, and the second stage is mainly to build a 3-Methyl-pyridine TK recovery device
