Corteva launches LumiTreo™ Seed treatment fungicide Triple Premix for soybean Phytophthora disease control

 Today, Corteva announced the launch of a new LumiTreo™ seed treatment fungicide (Ipconazole + Picoxystrobin + Oxathiapiprolin), expanding its LumiGEN® seed treatment portfolio.

LumiTreo™ is a powerful, triple-action premixed fungicide containing the active ingredients Ipconazole + Picoxystrobin + Oxathiapiprolin that provides three highly effective modes of action against key early-stage diseases to help soybeans reach their full potential. When combined with Imidacloprid, the product enhances pest control, taking soybean yield potential and pest control to a whole new level.

LumiTreo seed treatment fungicides are highly effective against Phytophthora sojae, significantly increasing yield potential, according to the head of seed treatment at Corteva. Soybean phytophthora disease is the number one disease that has caused significant declines in soybean production in North America.

According to an extensive trial study conducted at 256 sites in the United States over three years, the product improves disease control, field performance and planting performance. LumiTreo fungicide seed treatments also prevent common seedling diseases, such as stand blight, seedling blight, and seed and root rot, allowing soybean seeds to thrive from the beginning of the planting season.

 LumiTreo seed treatment fungicides will be available at the Corteva production facility and downstream treatment facility next spring.
