Kingfa Obtained a Patent for Epoxy Resin Modified Polyformaldehyde to Improve the Resistance of Products in Hot Water Environments
On December 18, 2023, according to an announcement from the China State Intellectual Property Office, the Chinese company Kingfa Sci.& Tech.Co.,Ltd obtained a project titled "An epoxy resin modified polyformaldehyde, polyformaldehyde composition and its preparation method and application." Authorization announcement number CN115386092B, application date is August 2022.
The patent abstract shows that the present invention discloses an epoxy resin modified polyformaldehyde, a polyformaldehyde composition and its preparation method and application, and relates to the technical field of polymer materials. The melting point of the epoxy resin modified polyformaldehyde of the present invention is 160-170°C, and the epoxy resin is bisphenol A type epoxy resin. When the above conditions are met, there are relatively few C-O bonds in the polyformaldehyde chain segment, and the resistance to hot water damage is relatively strong. It is suitable for use in product fields where the working environment is hot water, such as hot water valves, hot water pump internal parts, hot water pipe parts, etc.
