Yangzi Petrochemical 300,000 tons/year old PTA plant dismantled

A few days ago, the first set of 300,000 tons/year PTA unit of Yangzi Petrochemical Plant in Nanjing Jiangbei New Material Science and Technology Park officially entered the dismantling stage.

The kit was put into production in September 1989. It was the first PTA device put into production in the New Material Science and Technology Park, and it once created great benefits for Yangzi Petrochemical and the park. Due to the constraints and influence of domestic PTA overcapacity, backward technology and high energy consumption, the PTA device was withdrawn from the production sequence in 2013. After the device is dismantled, the original site will be used as a reserve land for the park's "14th Five-Year Plan" construction, helping the factory to continue its efforts to create benefits.

This device is the first mechanical dismantling device of Yangzi Petrochemical. Yangzi Petrochemical attaches great importance to the demolition work, formulated a complete overall demolition plan, assisted construction and supervision units to complete the on-site equipment oil discharge, pipeline and container cleaning, adjacent pipeline isolation, underground circulating water and fire water pipeline identification, etc. And conduct on-site docking with the demolition unit, and explain one by one.

Based on the principle of "green demolition", the factory sprays the dust and other substances generated during the demolition process with misty water, striving to achieve safe demolition, green demolition, and humane demolition to ensure the safety of the demolition work.
