Saint-Gobain divests plastic parts business ‘Freeglass’
Saint-Gobain has completed the sale of its automotive exterior plastic parts manufacturing business ‘Freeglass GmbH & Co. KG’ to HF Opportunities GmbH, a subsidiary of Hannover Finance.
The company’s industrial plant is located in Schwarzheim, Germany, and has been developing and producing plastic polymer components since 1998. In 2023, the company had sales of nearly €20 million and employed approximately 120 people.
The transaction is part of Saint-Gobain’s ongoing business position optimization strategy and is in line with the “Growth & Impact” strategic plan.
