ANRPC: Global natural rubber production is expected to increase by 1.3% to 910,000 tons in March 2021

The latest report released by ANRPC shows that global natural rubber production is expected to increase by 1.3% to 910,000 tons in March 2021. Among them, Thailand fell by 10%, Indonesia increased by 2.8%, Vietnam fell by 12.5%, and Malaysia increased by 44.9%.

 

Global natural rubber consumption is expected to increase by 7.4% to 1.234 million tons in March. Among them, China increased by 3.3%, India increased by 40.8%, Thailand decreased by 8.4%, and Malaysia increased by 3.4%.

 

Although the spot price of natural rubber showed a downward trend in March, the average price has risen further since February. The price of STR20 rubber in Bangkok rose 21.4%, the price of SMR20 rubber in Kuala Lumpur rose 4.1%, the price of RSS3 rubber in Bangkok rose 3.2%, and the price of Kota in India The price of RSS4 rubber in the YAM market rose 6.7%.

 

While people are worried that the COVID-19 epidemic in India and European countries will repeatedly affect the global economic recovery, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) have strengthened their outlook for global economic growth in 2021.
