Azelis expands collaboration with SI Group in lubricant additives market
Azelis, a leading innovative services provider to the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industries, is pleased to announce a new distribution agreement with SI Group, a leading global developer and manufacturer of performance additives, process solutions, pharmaceuticals and chemical intermediates.
The agreement, effective immediately, expands distribution to all of Europe and most countries in the Middle East and Africa with the addition of France and Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
This authorization allows Azelis to offer its customers a broad range of chemistry products, including more sustainable antioxidants approved by the NSF. Azelis has a broad portfolio in the lubricants and metalworking fluids market segments, leveraging its horizontal value chain to deliver new formulations, combining some of SI Group’s products with others from blue chip companies to create unique, innovative and sustainable products.
In line with Azelis’ sustainability strategy, detergent formulations also open the way to diversified solutions involving secondary food contact applications, in the form of greases and lubricants permitted by food industry standards.
Vice President of Industrial Solutions at SI Group commented: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with Azelis, leveraging their extensive distribution network in France and BNL. Their technical expertise enables us to provide innovative performance additives and sustainable solutions to new and existing customers. SI Group is committed to providing antioxidants that meet the current safety needs of global consumers, and working with Azelis ensures that we deliver on our promise.”
Azelis EMEA Lubricants & Metalworking Fluids Market Segment Director added: "It is very gratifying to see the positive results of our hard work, and we are excited to continue our partnership with SI Group, now expanding into France and BNL. This agreement complements our geographic coverage and allows us to better serve our customers. Our talented team and best-in-class laboratory equipment already bring great value to our partners, so I look forward to seeing the benefits of our long-term partnership with SI Group."
