TECHSiL Acquires Viking Industrial Products to Expand Its Presence in the UK
TECHSiL, a specialist adhesives distributor, has announced the acquisition of UK tape and adhesives distributor Viking Industrial Products Limited. The acquisition will benefit both companies, expanding their product ranges and strengthening TECHSiL’s market reach and UK position.
Viking Industrial Products Limited offers deep technical knowledge, product customisation, quality assurance and customer service. It has become a key e-commerce partner for 3M, supplying high-quality tapes, adhesives and abrasives, and is also one of its UK distribution partners.
Viking Industrial Products Limited’s products include masking and packaging tapes, specialist printing tapes, hazard warning tapes, contact and two-component adhesives, abrasives and flooring tapes. It serves customers in the aerospace, automotive, metalworking, contracting and printing industries.
“Viking’s business model is a great cultural and strategic fit with TECHSiL. I am grateful to the Bennett family, who have built a very successful business, and I am delighted that Colin will remain with the company in the short term to support this transition. Viking will continue to operate under the same name, in the same location and with the same people, and I look forward to seeing what more we can achieve together,” said Chris Dilley, Managing Director of TECHSiL.
