Chemours Partners with SRF Limited to Enhance Fluoropolymer and Intermediates Portfolio
The Chemours Company, Titanium Technologies (TT), and Advanced Performance Materials (APM) announced a strategic agreement with SRF Limited (SRF), a diversified, chemical-based conglomerate headquartered in India that produces industrial and specialty intermediates, including fluoropolymers.
This collaboration will strengthen Chemours' global supply chain footprint, enhance operational flexibility, and provide production capacity for fluoropolymers and fluoroelastomers—critical materials essential for industries such as semiconductors, automotive, aerospace, chemical processing, and oil and gas. With this capacity, Chemours will increase its operational flexibility and ensure a more reliable supply for its global customers.
The collaboration will leverage SRF's proven manufacturing capabilities, combined with Chemours' advanced product technologies and rigorous quality standards, to provide a reliable supply of high-quality products. These agreements complement Chemours' existing global presence and enable Chemours to efficiently achieve supply flexibility without requiring upfront capital investment.
Denise Dignam, President and CEO of Chemours, said: "This collaboration with SRF embodies our 'Path to Thrive' strategy as we continue to shift our product portfolio toward higher-value applications, strengthen our position as a trusted supplier, and commit to responsible manufacturing practices."
"This strategic partnership with Chemours is a testament to SRF's proven capabilities in complex chemical production," said Prashant Yadav, President and CEO of SRF Ltd.'s Fluorochemicals and Technical Textiles business.
"We are proud to strengthen our position as a trusted manufacturer of advanced materials and believe this marks the beginning of a strong partnership with a global leader in performance chemicals and advanced fluoropolymers."
