July Imports of Yarn and Textiles Through Xinjiang Down by 59.08% Y-O-Y

According to customs statistics, imports of yarn and textiles through Xinjiang port declined by 59.08% y-o-y to $1.537 million in July 2017, down by 45.07% m-o-m. In Jan-Jul, 2017, imports of yarn and textile through Xinjiang port increased by 35.5% on the year to $31.929 million.

Imports of textile machinery and parts through Xinjiang port increased by 17.39% on the year and 148.59% on the month respectively to $21.382 million, and imports in Jan-Jul, 2017 amounted to $0.1 billion, down 25.3% compared with same period of last year.
