Clariant to Increase Prices for TiO2, Carbon Black Containing Products
Clariant increases prices globally for all products containing titanium dioxide and/or carbon black pigments by between 5 percent-10 percent (depending on the grade, concentration and quality of the titanium dioxide (TiO2) and/or carbon black).
The increase includes white, black and colour masterbatches and relates to the following product brands: REMAFIN, RENOL, CESA, HiFormer & MEVOPUR. This will be effective for all deliveries from 1 October 2017.
This price increase is due to the sustained rise in prices of titanium dioxide, carbon black and other key raw materials driven by several factors including force majeure declarations, supply-demand dynamics and capacity related issues.
