Enteroviruses include poliovirus, coxsackievirus, echovirus (entero cytopathic human or-phan virus, ECHO virus), and the newly discovered enteroviruses 68 to 71 in recent years. This article mainly describes the relationship between coxsackievirus, echovirus and enterovirus and human diseases. These viruses cause sporadic or epidemic diseases all over the world, affecting all systems of the body. They are increasingly valued by people and are especially common in children. The clinical manifestations are complex and diverse. Although most of them are mild, they can also be life-threatening. They can cause aseptic meningitis, poliomyelitis, myocarditis, epidemic chest pain, rash diseases, herpetic pharyngitis, respiratory infections, infant diarrhea, and epidemic acute conjunctivitis.
