      Product presentation

Fluralaner (English name: Fluralaner, common trade names: Bravecto®, Chongwu®, Fulaien Chongwu®, etc.) is a revolutionary ectoparasiticide belonging to the isoxazoline class. It was first approved for marketing in 2014 and has revolutionized the parasite prevention and control paradigm for companion animals (dogs, cats) and even poultry, renowned for its ultra-long-lasting, high-efficiency, and broad-spectrum characteristics.

Chemical category and mechanism of action:
Chemical category: isoxazoline derivatives. This is a new generation of parasitic neurotoxins, which have different targets from traditional pyrethroids, organophosphates, and avermectins, thus exhibiting no cross-resistance.
    Mechanism of action:
Target: Acts on γ-aminobutyric acid-gated chloride channels and glutamate-gated chloride channels within the nervous system of parasites.
Process: Fluperamide selectively and potently inhibits these channels, preventing the normal influx of chloride ions into nerve cells. This results in the inability to suppress neural signals, leading to continuous excitation of the parasite's nervous system. Ultimately, this causes the parasite to become overly excited, paralyzed, and die.
Selectivity: It has very weak homologous channel effects on mammals (dogs, cats, humans), thus ensuring high safety.
    Core Features
Extraordinary long-lasting effectiveness (most prominent feature):
Its half-life in dogs and cats is extremely long (approximately 12-24 days). After a single dose, the plasma concentration can be maintained above the antiparasitic concentration throughout the effective period.
Dog: The protective efficacy against fleas and ticks can last for 12 weeks (3 months).
Cat: The protective efficacy against fleas lasts for 12 weeks, and against ticks (such as Ixodes persulcatus) lasts for 8-12 weeks.
This has elevated it from the traditional "monthly medication" model to the "quarterly medication" model.
    High efficiency and quick effect:
Flea killing: It can start to take effect within 2-4 hours after taking the medication, killing over 98% of fleas within 8 hours, and quickly preventing flea bites (studies have shown a significant reduction in bites within 3 hours).
Killing ticks: It can kill or dislodge ticks within 12-48 hours after attachment, effectively reducing the transmission risk of tick-borne diseases such as Lyme disease and Ehrlichiosis.
    Broad-spectrum insecticide:
    Primary targets:
Flea (Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis): adult and larva. It can effectively prevent and control flea allergic dermatitis.
Ticks: including various important species, such as Ixodes persulcatus (transmitting Lyme disease), Amblyomma americanum (transmitting Rocky Mountain spotted fever), Haemaphysalis bispinosa, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes hexagonus, Amblyomma variabile, and Ixodes angustus, etc.
    Other parasites:
Dog: It has significant therapeutic effects on ear mites, scabies mites, and demodex mites (usually used according to a prescribed course of treatment).
Cat: It has therapeutic effect on ear mites.
Poultry: Used in the poultry industry to control chicken gamasid mites (red mites), with an effect that can last for several months.

Fluralaner is a novel systemic antiparasitic drug for veterinary use, belonging to the isoxazoline class. It has a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency antiparasitic effect, mainly targeting ectoparasites (such as ticks, fleas, lice, mites) of dogs, cats and other companion animals, as well as some ectoparasites of livestock such as cattle and sheep.
With a purity of no less than 99%, this product is a white to yellowish crystalline powder with stable physical and chemical properties. Fluralaner acts by inhibiting the GABA-gated chloride channel and glutamate-gated chloride channel of parasites, leading to paralysis and death of parasites, and has the characteristics of long-lasting effect, low dosage, and high safety.
After administration, fluralaner is rapidly absorbed by animals, has a long elimination half-life (up to several months for some animals), and can provide long-term protection against ectoparasite infestation. It is widely used in the prevention and treatment of ectoparasite-borne diseases in animals, effectively reducing the incidence of parasitic diseases and improving the breeding efficiency of animal husbandry and the health level of companion animals.
This product complies with the quality standards of veterinary raw materials, with low residue and no obvious toxic and side effects when used in accordance with the recommended dosage, and is suitable for large-scale promotion and application in animal breeding industry.
