Mongolia announced the adoption of the World Health Organization's General Principles of Food Hygiene Guidelines for the Prevention and Reduction of Food Virus Contamination
On December 27, 2022, the Mongolian Bureau of Standards announced that the country has not issued standards to control and reduce virus contamination in food, and after collaborating with the Department of Nutrition of the National Public Health Center and the School of Public Health of the National Medical University, the translation of the World Health Organization (WHO) Food Hygiene Guidelines for the Application of General Principles in the Prevention and Reduction of Viral Contamination in Food, and approved for use in Mongolia for implementation as a national standard.
