The European Union approved a 3'-salivary lactose sodium salt for the market as a new food product
According to the Official Journal of the European Union, on January 17, 2023, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) 2023/113 approving 3'-salivary lactose in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council Sodium salt (3′-Sialyllactose sodium salt) was placed on the market as a new food product and amended the Annex to the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470.
