Adama's Sierra® is registered in Australia
Adama announced the successful registration of Sierra®, its first generic herbicide product based on its technical of Saflufenacil, in Australia.
Sierra®, developed on Adama's unique formulation technology platform, provides farmers with an important resistance management tool that is effective against annual and broadleaf weeds and meets the needs of a wide range of crops and off-farm plant protection, maximizing efficiency while minimizing the loss of valuable soil water. The superior and consistent efficacy of Sierra® compared to existing solutions has been demonstrated in hundreds of trials under different conditions.
Saflufenacil is one of the company's technicals, and this is our first product registration for Saflufenacil worldwide, marking a significant milestone," said Walter Costa, Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy at Adama. "The registration of this important agent in Australia demonstrates our commitment to focus on delivering innovative solutions to meet the needs of farmers and the agile nature of Adama's implementation strategy." Adama expects the product to be registered in Brazil, Canada, Argentina, South Africa and other countries over the next few years.
