Albaugh launched the herbicide:Ethofumesate 4SC Select
Albaugh, USA, recently announced that its Ethofumesate 4SC Select herbicide has been registered by the US Environmental Protection Agency for pre - and post-bud control of Poa, as well as broad-spectrum control of grass weeds and broad-leaved weeds.
Ethofumesate 4SC Select has a high concentration of active ingredients and a low utilization rate, making it particularly effective for controlling bluegrass on golf courses and lawns, as well as barnyard grass, nightshade, chickweed, crab grass, Setaria viridis, shorella, portulaca, and other weeds. The water-based 4SC formulation of the herbicide is safe for labeled cold-season grasses and several warm-season lawn varieties.
With the flexibility to apply in spring and fall and the versatility of pre - and post-bud control, Ethofumesate 4SC Select provides the green industry with an effective solution to the long-term problems of Poa, providing a new tool for lawn care on golf courses, residential and commercial lawns, Albaugh said.
Ethofumesate 4SC Select (EPA registration number 45002-37-89442) is an addition to the Albaugh Specialty portfolio and is sold exclusively through the Albaugh Specialty Distribution Network.
