Clariant will increase the price of pigments and pigment preparations
On March 12, 2021, Clariant, a specialty chemicals company focused on innovation, announced a global price increase in its product portfolio.
The price of the pigment product portfolio will increase by USD 1.2/kg, and the price of the pigment preparation will increase by USD 0.5/kg or its equivalent in local currency.
Certain individual products will experience higher price increases due to the severe impact of their specific raw material costs.
The increase will take effect on March 19, 2021, or as soon as possible within the scope of the contract, and it is necessary to restore the continuous cost increase of basic raw materials, energy and transportation.
