In order to implement the spirit of the important instructions of General Secretary Jinping on financial services to the real economy and the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the People’s Bank of China, the China Banking Regulatory Commission, and the China Securities Regulatory Commission jointly issued the "About Guiding Opinions on Strengthening Industrial Integration to Promote Industrial Green Development" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Liancai [2021] No. 159), the opinions put forward 8 major directions for industrial green development: very detailed, it is recommended to read carefully!

1. Green low-carbon technology. Research and development of common technologies in the fields of low-carbon, energy-saving, water-saving, environmental protection, clean production, and comprehensive utilization of resources, and carry out comprehensive demonstrations of carbon reduction, zero-carbon and negative-carbon technologies. Support new energy, new materials, new energy vehicles, new energy aircraft, green ships, green agricultural machinery, new energy power, high-efficiency energy storage, carbon capture, utilization and storage, zero-carbon industrial process reengineering, agriculture, forestry, fishery, and carbon sinks.

2. Speed up the green transformation and upgrading of industrial enterprises. Fully promote green manufacturing, shared manufacturing, and intelligent manufacturing, and support enterprises to create green factories. Speed up the implementation of the green transformation of steel, petrochemical, chemical, non-ferrous, building materials, light industry, textile and other industries. Guide enterprises to increase the use of renewable energy, strengthen power demand side management, and promote the replacement of fossil fuels with electric energy, hydrogen energy, and biomass energy. Build a green data center. Support the construction of energy and water resources management and control centers, and improve the level of management informationization.

3. Support the green development of industrial parks and advanced manufacturing clusters. Create a number of green industrial parks and advanced manufacturing clusters, carry out energy cascade utilization, and encourage the construction of smart micro-grids. Carry out the construction of a demonstration park for power demand side management in the industrial field.

4. Optimize and adjust the industrial structure and layout. Speed up the construction and operation of infrastructure such as charging piles, replacement stations, and hydrogen refueling stations, and promote the construction of a new energy vehicle power battery recycling system.

5. Build a complete green supply chain.

6. Cultivate a green manufacturing service system. Vigorously develop specialized energy-saving and environmental protection services such as energy measurement, monitoring, diagnosis, evaluation, technological transformation, consulting, industrial water-saving and water treatment system integration services, third-party management of environmental pollution, and trusteeship of comprehensive environmental management.

7. Promote the consumption upgrade of green and low-carbon products. Encourage enterprises to carry out product green design in accordance with the concept of the whole life cycle, and expand the effective supply of high-quality green products. Establish an incentive and restraint mechanism for sales of green and low-carbon products on an e-commerce platform to expand consumption of new energy vehicles, photovoltaic solar thermal products, green consumer electrical and electronic products, and green building materials.

8. Promote green and low-carbon international cooperation. Guided by carbon neutrality, formulate key industries' carbon peak goals and roadmaps, and support smart photovoltaics, new energy vehicles and other industries to play a demonstrative and leading role. Encourage qualified places to build Sino-foreign cooperative green industrial parks, and promote the transformation and implementation of green technological innovation achievements in China. Jointly build a green “Belt and Road”, strengthen the joint control of the coal and power industry, and promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial production capacity. Build a green comprehensive service platform and a common technology platform, and promote China's new green technology equipment to "go global" and standard internationalization.
