Thailand's Natural Rubber Exports in The First 10 Months of 2021 Increase by 30% Year-on-year
In the first 10 months of 2021, Thailand’s exports of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber) totaled 2.778 million tons, an increase of 30% year-on-year. Among them, the total export of standard rubber was 1.379 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 62%; the export of smoked sheet rubber was 416,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 36%; the export of latex was 974,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3%.
From January to October, exports of natural rubber to China totaled 995,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 31%. Among them, standard rubber exports to China totaled 570,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 47%; smoked sheet rubber exports to China totaled 100,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 93%; latex exports to China totaled 321,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3%.
From January to October, Thailand’s exports of mixed rubber totaled 984,000 tons, down 28% year-on-year; the total number of mixed rubber exports to China was 980,000 tons, down 29% year-on-year.
Overall, Thailand’s exports of natural rubber and mixed rubber in the first 10 months totaled 3.762 million tons, an increase of 7% year-on-year; the total exports to China were 1.975 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7%.
