Turkmenistan will speed up the introduction of oil and gas technology

It was necessary to speed up the introduction of advanced technology in the field of oil and gas and increase the export volume of oil products. At the meeting, meledov, vice chairman of the cabinet of ministers, pointed out that from January to October 2019, the planned completion rate of domestic refining reached 101.8%, the planned completion rate of gasoline production reached 100.1%, and the planned completion rate of diesel production reached 103.5%. However, he stressed that from January to October, the completion rate of indicators in the oil and gas sector lagged behind the annual plan. According to Berdymukhamedov, the main reason for this situation is that advanced technology is not fully introduced in production, so high-quality petroleum products and polypropylene film are passively put into the world market. However, the quality of oil products sold in the domestic market is less than that exported. He stressed that it is necessary to speed up the introduction of advanced technology and improve the efficiency of oil well production and maintenance, such as attracting foreign investment to develop new oil fields and increasing the oil production of reservoirs with high exploitation difficulty. Special emphasis is placed on the production of oil refining and basic petroleum products, as well as the strategic planning of marketing these products and polypropylene film in domestic and foreign markets. He also pointed out that it is necessary to increase the production of natural gas chemical products, study the possibility of logistics industry entering the new market, and operate the factories that use natural gas to produce environment-friendly gasoline. And ordered to analyze the work of Turkmenistan Bashi refinery, find a promising direction in the future diversified development, and strengthen the application of new production management mode. Berdymukhamedov said that necessary measures should be taken to introduce digital technology into the production process, expand the scope of production, improve the quality of oil products, and continue to carry out relevant activities to promote domestic oil products to the world market.
