Lubrizol Launches PTFE-Free PowderAdd 9780 Texturizing Agent
Lubrizol announces the launch of PowderAdd 9780, a new wax additive that helps formulators achieve fine texture effects in powder coatings, along with a host of additional benefits.
PowderAdd 9780 is a PTFE-free wax additive for use in powder coating formulations that offers a host of benefits for industrial OEM applications. First, it provides a fine texture effect for a unique visual appearance. It also enhances scratch resistance, skid resistance, and metal marking resistance. With its inherent matting efficiency, formulators can also reduce complexity by eliminating the need for additional matting agents.
"The combination of fine texturing functionality, matting efficiency, and surface protection in a single product enables powder coating formulators to achieve exceptional value," said Bill Ruth, Technical Marketing Manager at Lubrizol.
