Natura &Co Returns to Profitability in Q2 with Strong Latin America Performance

ECHEMI 2025-08-14

Brazilian beauty conglomerate Natura &Co reported a net profit of BRL 195.1 million (approximately USD 36.1 million) for the second quarter of 2025 on Monday, August 11, marking a significant recovery from a BRL 122.7 million loss in the same period last year. The results reflect the company's return to profitability after several challenging quarters.

The improvement was driven by Natura brand's robust performance in Latin America, operational streamlining efforts, and progress in integrating Natura and Avon operations across the region. Excluding Avon's non-Latin American businesses—classified as "held for sale," including Avon International and Avon Central America (CARD)—the group's Latin American operations generated a profit of BRL 445 million (USD 82.2 million), compared to a BRL 872.8 million (USD 161.65 million) loss a year earlier.

João Paulo Ferreira, CEO of Natura &Co, stated: "We have advanced our strategic simplification efforts, reinforcing our leadership in Latin America. Following a solid Q1 2025, we delivered another healthy quarter. In Brazil, our core market, Natura outperformed the industry despite a subdued consumption environment and ongoing challenges in the Avon brand. We remain confident in achieving full-year profit growth."
