According to the commodity market analysis system, as of December 18th, the reference average price of urea in the Chinese market was 1,720 CNY/ton, an increase of 1.03% from the reference average price of 1,702 CNY/ton on December 1st.

Market Conditions
As we enter December, urea market prices in China have been fluctuating and rising. The urea futures market has seen an upward trend, boosting the spot market conditions as well. As of December 18, urea prices in the Shandong region were around 1,680–1,720 CNY per ton; in the Hebei region, they were also around 1,680–1,720 CNY per ton; in the Henan region, they ranged from 1,650 to 1,690 CNY per ton; in the Hubei region, they were approximately 1,670–1,730 CNY per ton; and in the Liaoning region, they stood at around 1,720–1,750 CNY per ton.
Supply and Demand Situation
Currently, the supply of urea in the Chinese market is sufficient, and demand is relatively stable. In terms of supply, the daily production of urea remains high. On the demand side, downstream essential restocking is the main driver, with demand steadily following.
III. Future Market Forecast
Urea analysts believe: Recently, the urea market has been consolidating and rising. Influenced by the information on India's urea tender, the urea futures market has risen, and the urea spot market has followed suit, with new orders in the urea market increasing. It is expected that in the short term, urea prices in China will continue to rise.
