Description

Phloretin is a novel natural skin-whitening agent commonly used in masks, creams, lotions, and serums. It inhibits excessive sebum secretion, treating acne caused by excessive sebum production; it also inhibits melanocyte activity, effective against various skin pigmentation issues. Compared to similar natural ingredients like arbutin and kojic acid, phloretin at the same concentration exhibits better inhibitory effects on tyrosinase. Furthermore, when combined with arbutin or kojic acid, it significantly enhances the inhibition rate of tyrosinase, thus achieving a whitening effect. Phloretin has exceptionally strong moisturizing properties, absorbing 4-5 times its own weight in water, and promotes the absorption of other functional ingredients in the formula, enhancing their efficacy. It also possesses strong antioxidant capabilities, effectively scavenging free radicals in the skin.
